Hi all

I am having one of those days where nothing i put on seams to make me look nice or even make me feel good about my weight loss... it really bothers me when i get like this because i never use to be like it even when i was at my heaviest of 91 kg ( think its about 200 pounds ) i would just chuck on what ever and didn't care what people think...

But now that i am almost 76kg ( about 168 pounds) i feel bad and look at my self in the mirror and think to my self i look bad & that people will be looking at me thinking i am fat!! ( even though my jeans are loose and my clothes actually fit me & are not tight ) i am not going to turn in to one of those girls who becomes anorexic but its just how i am feeling today.....i have also been trying so hard not to binge because i know how hard i will have to work to work it off!! just dont know whats wrong with me today!!!

dose anyone else ever have days like this or is it just me being silly!!

FML is all i can say!!!

My roommate from college used to call them "blueberry days", where you just feel giant and round and bloated. It can do a number on your head. I just have to remember that it will pass and I will feel better if I don't give in and binge. I also have to remind myself that people probably are so caught up in their own stuff that they are not even thinking about whether I look perfect in my jeans. Probably, they are walking around wondering if everyone is thinking about how they look in their jeans.

I think we have to sometimes adjust to the new look of ourselves and the new shape. Even though your clothes may fit better you may need to try different styles and you will then feel better about yourself. Treat yourself to something new and that you like on you. It will help your progress. And congrats on the awesome weight loss.

I have days like that too. I went from 99.8kg and am now about 62kg and I actually feel a lot more self-conscious and "fat" at my current weight than I ever did at my high weight. I think losing weight just makes you more aware so you'll have days like this.

I feel kind of crazy at times... I could wear a bikini at 90kg but I wouldn't even dream of wearing shorts now.

I have "fat days" all the time... They just generally happen when I'm feeling quite down or depressed or I put on a piece of clothing and it doesn't feel quite right... I look back at when I was 18 and think about how great my body was then... and sadly, I still had those "fat days" even though I never was fat - I was fit as anything and possibly underweight!!! I think it's all in our minds and we just need to have some positive thoughts to help us feel better about ourselves...

Stick your head up high, wear some sexy underwear and plaster a (fake) smile on your face... and hopefully you'll start to feel a bit better..

    xoxo
