Help...too many calories left at eod...frustrated!

I was hoping to get some thoughts and suggestions to my problem:- I am on 1340 calories a day and usually that's fine on the two days that I don't exercise. But three nights a week I do a Zumba class. My instructor is amazing and has me burning between 700-800 calories per session - no complaints there. My problem is that I get home from Zumba at 8pm and realise I now have over 1000 calories to eat and really don't feel like it at that time of night. How many calories should I eat? Can anyone suggest a great after-workout meal for me? I'm also frustrated because I work-out like a machine....but have a VERY slow weight loss. Am I doing something wrong?

maybe have a protein or vitamin shake after or before- go to like gnc and ask the staff. they are suppose to know the products0

if your not hungry then don't eatanything. By the end of the week you will have big weight loss0

not enough food! Try to eat every 2.5-3 hours, and balance out your sugar levels. It worked for me and I was on a plateau for almost 4 weeks.0

Pre-log an estimate of your zumba calories before you do them, so you can spread out the calories through the day. I typically have all my food and exercise logged before 11am, even if I won't eat dinner or work out for another 8-9 hours.0

Eat more earlier in the day0

What about liquid foods? You could have a big protein shake with protein powder (if you're into that), avocado, greens, peanut butter, some almond or soymilk, whatever you like, and rack up the calories without having to sit down for a big meal.0

I think this sounds like very good advice. I will give it a go. Thank you so much everyone0
