i'm posting my first partial week of training for the double crown bellydance competition in 2010.
so far so good:
Tuesday-class for 2 hours
Wednesday-class for 1 hour
Thursday-did crazy HIIT routine from hardcore topic
Friday-drills for 1 hour
Saturday-class for 1 hour, finger cymbal drills for 1 hour, improv for 30 minutes, (also helped my friend move but that doesn't count)
Sunday-practiced with a friend for 30 minutes, drilled for 1 hour
i think scheduling a full hour of finger cymbal drills followed by more playing is a bad idea right now. i definitely need to improve my technique, as i had a lot of pain this morning in my palm. so, i think i will finger cymbal drill for 30 minutes, followed by improv instead.
plan for this coming week:
Monday-class for 1 hour
Tuesday-class for 2 hours
Wednesday-class for 1 hour
Thursday-hopefully another crazy HIIT routine
Friday-I have a gig (which doesn't count) followed by my friend coming over to play rock band, so i'll have to make it up
Saturday-class 1 hour, finger cymbal drills 30 minutes, improv 1 hour
Sunday-practice with friend, drills for 1 hour, finger cymbal drills 30 minutes, improv 30 minutes

Hey Girl! I'll be seeing your performance on May 2nd and I can't wait to meet you in person!
I'll be reserving a seat very close to the stage!
I'm down to 135 and have lost some inches as well...I'm in my 9 slim Levis and they're loose...it took me a year to get this far and it is so worth it!
I had my annual physical and all is well...I still need to lower my cholestorol a bit so I'm going to have to research and see where I can improve my diet...it is probably from all the celebrating I've done since I've returned home...time to get seriously healthy again!
See You Soon!0
