Ok it says 1 cup eaquals 150 calories right? BUt is that ... you measure 1 cup of UNCOOKED oats put it in the bowl , add water then cook it? OR is it you cook some oats and eat 1 cup of the COOKED oats? IM only asking because they measure out differently when cooked cause the oat meal thickens and rises. HELP ME please and thank you :flowerforyou:

i think its 1 cup cooked because my thing says 1/2 cup uncooked is 150 or something like that. 1 cup uncooked would be a lot cooked!!

Oh so a 1/2 cup dry = 150 caloriese because once its cooked it should equal 1 cup cooked AND that 1cup cooked =150 calories?

. hrmmm who eats unpopped popcorn?

On a Venn diagram, this would be the intersection of the following sets:

    1) People who like unpopped popcorn.
    2) People who don't want teeth.

There are folks out there who eat dirt and paper, I guess unpopped popcorn doesn't sound so weird.

Or you could just measure out 1/2 cup dry oatmeal, record it as 150 calories and call it a day!

My Quaker Oats package says specifically "1/2 cup dry (40g)" for a 150 cal serving.

Also, weigh rather than measure. 40g never fills up a 1/2 cup measure quite to the top.
