Okay, I saw you spend over 30 minutes on the treadmill. You worked up quite a sweat. You also managed to watch everyone around you. Then you went to the stairclimber, where once again, you worked up quite a sweat.
I find it funny that as you walked away from these machines you thought everyone was watching you. (okay they were) BUT they weren't watching you because they thought you were hot. They were watching you because you didn't wipe down the machines when you were done sweating like a pig all over everything.
Oh yeah, and do you think your friend noticed that while the 2 of you were talking that you made little or minimal eye contact because you were too busy looking over her shoulder to look at yourself in the mirror behind her?
I love to people watch, but man, that's just arrogant and rude.

How do you know she thought everyone was watching her because they thought she was hot? Maybe she has a stalker and was trying to make sure he didn't show up at the gym?

Not wiping down the machines is gross, though.

I have a mirror across my room so I can watch myself run and I do check myself out a lot in windows.

The sweat thing is why I don't think I will ever be a gym frequenter.

I watch the TV in the gym, rather than the people.

I also assume that the last person on every machine was a sweaty beast and wipe it down.

I love having my own Elliptical and bike.... if I could find a reasonable stair machine I would be in heaven but there are plenty of outdoor stairs to walk so it is all good!!

Love the post, those folks are disgusting!
  • i know! i used to see those types all the time. they have a little towle to pat their necks and stuff, but leave their sweaty hand prints and a waterfall af sweat leading from one machine to the other. ugh probably the ones that leave the huge hair clumps in the showers too
  • I continue to be amazed and impressed when people can know what another, a stranger, is thinking. What an amazing power! Truely a gift! I hope that it is used for good.........

  • I love it :) nice venting session. People like that drive me nuts. There is a girl at my gym who wears volleyball spandex and a cut off tee everytime shes at the gym and struts around the weights where the guys are lifting. For one she should NOT be wearing the spandex. And two the only reason any of those guys look at her is because she is in their way. Hahahahahahaahahaha. O the fun of people watching at the gym!!!!!!! Thanks for the good laugh

I totally people watch.. and I know the trainers are my gym do too.

Some people are just too good not to watch.. like the girl who works the front desk, who was wearing ugg boots and spandex booty shorts.. I was like dear lord girl, did you look in the mirror before you left? Obviously not!

Apparently YOU were watching her every move!! I think you should have just concentrated on YOUR workout and not her.. I would be so uncomfortable to know that someone was watching me THIS closely..

No, it was an earlier post referring to the gun I'm shooting in my pic. One poster spelled it wrong and someone corrected them :noway:
