Should I?

Okay, I've been wondering, I'm trying to lose weight (preferably 1- 1 1/2 lbs a week) & my daily calorie intake is set at 1200, I work out 5-6 days a week burning 500 calories or more within 60 mins. Should I be eating my calories that I burn off?
I know it calculates it on MFP, but I was just wanting a little input...
Thanks!

Some people do but I usually do not! I'm eating 1300 cal per day. I would only use those extra calories only if there was a special reason and I needed them.0

good luck

I absolutely would if I were in your shoes.0 -
1200 - 500 = 700.
700 calories net is good for nobody.
Absolutely, yes, "eat your exercise calories"

The only time I would say don't is if you've already set a calorie target which already factors in an estimated calorie burn. In other words, eat about 1700 calories a day w/o counting exercise. Or eat about 1200 a day PLUS exercise.
Make sense?0 -
I eat mine back everyday. I lose weight every week0

Every one is different. I eat mine if I am hungry. I trust my body to make the meal decisions more than my mind since my mind is what got me to this weight in the first place!

Do you have a heart rate monitor? I would eat them back if I knew it was an accurate burn. If you're going off what the machines tell you, I wouldn't eat all of them back since they typically over estimate significantly.0

Eat the calories!!!! woohoo more food. I always eat them, just make sure it's good clean, lean, and wholesome.0

Some good food for thought here already. It does seem to me like you're eating too few calories for your activity level, but I'm not an expert. Suggest you experiment to find out what your particular body needs.0
