In the early stages...?

Hi, I just started my weight loss program about 1-2 weeks ago. When you started, did it take a few weeks for the scale to catch up with all your hard work. I have had it happen to me in the past where I worked my butt off, saw no results, gave up, then saw results a few weeks later. Does this happen to anyone else?

I personally think that you have to set realistic goals.....and sometimes we as a ppl want right now results... which isn't always the best thing...stick to it... and i promise you that you will see results... good luck on your journey0

I choose not to set weight goals (aside from ultimate) because I generally fail at them and lose heart - instead I use the measuring tape and set around 4 goals to achieve per fortnight (normally one or two exercise, one or two food related, and mental health related)0

you're ok as long as you keep the focus... learning how your body reacts is key!0

I know I'll sometimes go 2-3 weeks with consistent effort but no results, and then drop 4-6 pounds in a week. It's a bit hard to explain, but I'm doing it for health reasons, and the health benefits of eating healthy and exercising don't go away even when I'm on a plateau.0

Great topic, I know how this feels but have faith that any change to my diet and exercise from what I was doing will eventually pay off.0
