I just signed up for BodyBuilding.com as I was looking for a weight lifting regiment. I chose 12 week Daily Trainer (Hard Core) with Kris Gething. I like the fact that the work out incorporated Cardio for 40 minutes a day as well as lifting. Has any one else done this work out or any others from BodyBuilding.com? Did you like it? Finish it? See results?

  • the key to any program is being consistent at it, I have often used the BB.com for tips and ways to tweak workouts. Make sure your diet is clean, and the training intense and results will come! Soon as I recover fully from back surgery I will be back on the weights! And we can go back and forth about weight training!!

I would recommend avoiding most of the information on the bodybuilding.com SUPERSITE. The bodybuilding.com FORUMS have tons of great information especially in the stickied posts.

    As far as starting programs:

    Starting Strength
    All-Pros

^ These are popular and while you can probably find Starting Strength posted somewhere, the best thing to do would be to purchase it from Mark Rippetoe himself.

All Pros should be posted. You can check bodybuilding.com/forums and go to workout programs.

As far as Kris's program, avoid all dietary advice associated with that program and stick to either MFP, or better yet, check the nutrition forum stickies on bb.com and read about calculating calorie needs and macronutrients.
