I wouldn't pay it too much attention. Money between family shouldn't be an issue.
If it bothers you, then don't let a 15 year old out-insist you! Don't be mean or anything, but be firm and tell him "You paid last time, I am paying this time".

    Done deal.

    .
  • It sounds like he has a very traditional frame of mind (the man always pays for the woman), and it also might be that he wants to show off how mature he is by taking the responsibility on himself. (I know at that age I was a bit obsessed with finally having my own money.)

If it bothers you the only real solution is to assert yourself and insist on paying your share.

You sound really weird putting too much emphasis on age and gender there for cousins....just saying. It shouldn't matter what ages and genders you are if you're just cousins and you shouldn't have to say no feelings.

As a young woman, you should get used to it. And you certainly should enjoy it!

It sounds like your cousin is traditional and is being chivalrous. His parents have probably done a good job raising him. If he wants to pay, I say let him. It's his money, he can do what he wants with it.

haha don't worry trust me i see him as family. But people online come from different cultures and have different mentalities so when asking about anyones opinion " online" you need to include all the details to not give space to questions.
I'm mentioning the gender because i mentioned "no feelings" didn't want people to get confused also because to lay out all possibilites. :)don't worry please/ Lol

:D! .... i also agree with people saying maturity and kindness thats so true about my relatives whom i haven't seen for a while i think each one wants to show his or her better side after a long time of not seeing each other. i came up with this conclusion after realizing i do the same too ha.

    thanks every1!
  • I'm 21, my cousin is 22, I'm female, he's male. He always pays, and I don't mind ONE bit. lol :)
