WOW - what a difference a day makes

Good Morning

Well I cannot believe how unbelievably more upbeat and positive I feel after only 1 day of following the MFP plan and picking up some of your advice and support.

I planned this morning's breakfast last night and I had it rather than either skipping it and gorging on rubbish when the hunger got a firm grip or eating sugar fuelled cookies or cereal!

It dawned on me today that I had lost the belief in myself that i could do this as I had been a very slim girl for most of my life, however Rome was not built in a day and these rolls will take while to shrink to ripples

So T H A N K Y O U to all of you who have "held my hand" so to speak and offered your kind support and advice - I think I may have just seen a glimpse of my old self

If you are reading this perhaps as a new person joining or somebody who has lost their way - I can only say give it a shot

anyway i'd love to stay and type but there is a treadmill calling me!

(yes i even have my own and still weigh 275 :O( )

smooches xxxx

Just keep going-I always find the first two weeks a challenge to get going when I have let msyself slide down the slippery slope. Keep going and refresh your memory with a glimpse of your hopes, dreams and your positive attitude. It will help on the 'hard' days.
Well done and long may it continue.

  • WOW - What a difference a POSITIVE POST makes!

I fell off my wagon in a big way last night - had been doing so well for 2 weeks and lost 4lbs (only wanted to lose a stubborn 7lbs or so); but last night I gorged myself...!!!! Silly me. I'd been beatiing myself up till I read your post. You're absolutely right - it's about believing in yourself and trusting that you can do it, isn't it.

I can do this. Thank you!

I hope you said nice things to yourself while you were on the treadmill. I like that time because I can think and plan how to be more successful. You are already successful by eating your breakfast and getting on the treadmill. ^5 (high five) to you girlie.
  • If you keep up this attitude, you'll definitely succeed! Welcome and good luck!!! :)
