Baked cinnamon pears with cranberry almond sauce.

A Yummy, Healthy(ish) November Treat :tongue:

Preheat toaster oven to 375.
Toast 3 Tbl of sliced almonds ('till light brown).
Three small pears halved and cored, placed in shallow glass pan in oven.
Meanwhile, simmer about 1/3 cup of cranberry juice (or any other type of juice) with 1/4 cup dried cranberries or raisens
Add 2 tsp splenda brown sugar, a half tsp cinnamon, dash clove, dash allspice and 1 oz Orange Curacao (could also use orange juice).
Add the sliced almonds.
Simmer and stir until slightly thickened (about 10 min).
Take the pears out and drop the mixture into hollowed out area (leaving extra liquid for later).
Put it all back in oven for about 20 minutes (basically just checked until it was soft).
Then when took out, poured the remaining liquid sauce on top.

About three servings, ~210 cals per serving (2 halves)
Consider pairing it with: frozen yogurt or topping breakfast oatmeal with it all chopped up
