But if everyone else who knows what someone means when they say 'muscle weighs more than fat' could just remember that its just a term and we all 'get it' we wouldnt need these incessant posts.

This is a really good point. Who is going to give first? It is incorrect to say muscle weighs more than fat. Does it matter? I don't know. when I read that statement it makes my ears itch. Could be unrelated, though.
