Faces don't come in hourglass, girl...0 -
My face has ALWAYS been very round - I rock the good ol Slavik look. I FINALLY saw a difference in my face - I had always wanted to lose the cheeks, haha!

This made me LOL for real. Kudos.
Two days ago I was looking in the mirror and had a "holy ****" moment. I've always thought I had a round face but I think it was just fat. Now it's looking more oval or rectangle. Not really sure which, but definitely less round. If I had pictures to share, I would, but I'm totally a camera-avoider.0 -
I was also the kid with the big cheeks (freckled too) and I hated it. This is my before (around 220lbs or maybe higher) and during (178lbs)

I am a round face person too and it is certainly where I saw some major differences... if I knew how to put pictures up in here I would show you the difference already. There are exercises you can do - I will try to describe them the best I can... sit up straight and tilt your chin upwards until you feel a slight tension in your neck, then dramatically say all of the vowels A, E, I, O U, one at a time really emphasizing the movements - especially on the U - try to push your chine to the sky. I would say spend about 2-3 seconds saying each letter. I do this maybe 10 times and few times a week. Beware you do not want to do this in public - people will think you have lost your mind - I do it in the shower. It may not feel like you are doing much, but wait until the next day your neck and jaw will be so sore! Good luck!0

ive always had a round face/ head ... my dad used to call it a pumpkin... anywho yes it does change as you lose weight0

Well... I have a round face. I can see a definite difference since I've lost weight. Check out my photos. The second one is one of the more recent ones. It looks like it has more of a shape to it... I think?0

I've always had a pretty round face. Even when I was in high school and weighed 135- I thought I was huge! And I hate my chubby cheeks. Here's a couple of my pictures the first one is from this past July around the 27th the second is from Oct. 31st.
200lbs
176lbs
I don't have many pictures of my face straight on because of how chubby my face tends to look:laugh: But I tried to find pictures with similar angles.
*I've got a picture in my profile from when I was in high school- I've still got those chubby cheeks:laugh:0 -
Well, I don't have a round face, I have heart shaped, but I noticed a huge difference in how my face looked after losing a certain amount of weight. My sister on the other hand, has an oval/round face. At her smallest, 135 her face still was round but her jaw was defined, and her chin looked pointier (more so than an oval, less so than a heart), it was more like an oval/heart type shape. At her heaviest, around 200 or so, her face was just completely round, and she really didn't have any definition. Now that she's lost almost all that weight again, her face is still round, just not at chubby. I think it might have to do with how/what you're doing to lose weight. My sister isn't exercising so her face is getting smaller, but not more defined (if that makes sense). I, on the other hand, exercise, and my face is getting smaller AND defined! I hope this answers your questions and I'm not just babbling, I'm prone to do that a lot lol

I always thought my face was round, guess not...0
-
Absolutely. That is where my weig shows up ... and sticks around ... the longest too. But in those cases where I've lost 20 lbs. or so, I can definitely do see a difference. Face fat is no fun! While the benefit of looking younger is great, I hate that it enhances the fatness factor!0

I really THOUGHT that I had a round face because it certainly LOOKED round in pictures, but then I shed all of the excess weight and now I have a pointy-chinned heart-shaped face. Apparently all of the nooks and crannies were just filled with fat in my case.0

I'm a roundy, too!
At my largest:
I'm still about the same weight, and this is my most recent pic:
The weight seems to be sticking to my face. Lol.
And this was what a good hairstyle can do to un-round my face:
When I was smaller (and I thought I was fat, then!!!):
That random guy next to me is now my husband.0 -
I always had a round face, it would slim down slightly with weight loss but the biggest change came as I got older - once I hit 30 my face slimmed down and weight loss had more impact. Now at 35 and my lowest weight some days I wish my face were a little chubbier cos I think I would look younger! We are never happy .... lol.0

GRRRR!!! :grumble: I've got the round face effect as well. Now, although I've lost weight when I smile I STILL have chimpmunk cheeks. Not cool! :ohwell:0

I have a round face and like you, it makes me seem younger.
My face does look slimmer as I've lost weight. You can definately tell in my face. But I have some cheeks on me.. as do my sisters who one is thin and the other is average.
I just embrace my pretty face now!!0 -

My face has always been round. My dad always called me "apple face" and still to this day does. However, I feel my jawline is coming is getting more defined as I lose weight...my round face is starting to become more of a heart shaped face. Here is a before and after....

Regardless of your face shape or weight, there are definite tips that can help you take better photos. First, never square your shoulders to the lens of a camera and stare directly at it. Angle your shoulders at least 45 degrees to either side, then turn your head back toward the camera... instantly slimmer looking!!! Also, make sure the lens of the camera is above your eye level. This may sound (and feel) silly, but try it anyway... push your shoulders back, boobs and butt out, and BELIEVE that YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!!!
Go ahead now... try it. You'll be surprised : )0
