My family actually made a joke that they better not expect me to bring anything, because I'll just bring cases of bottled water. :D

I make the entire meal. One of my favorite things about Thanksgiving, other than having the family with me, is making the Thanksgiving meal. Thanksgiving is my all time favorite holiday. I even took the day before thanksgiving to start preparing for the day.

Everything. We have no extended family in the area and it's too far to travel for a long weekend so it's just our little family for T-day. My husband has to work until dinner time so he'll come home to a ready made Thanksgiving meal.

As of right now, I'm working 4pm till midnight. So my son and I will have a VERY small Thanksgiving dinner another day. I'm really not into food so much anymore, so I'll see what he'd like and prepare that for HIM. He is a VERY good son <3

I'm the turkey guy...have been for years. I'm even in charge of carving and then picking that carcass clean for leftovers and prepping the wish bone for my two youngest daughters to tug on. Come on over if you want to taste the best tasting roasted turkey in the known universe...

I hate to be the one to say it. But I've never had a roasted turkey I really enjoyed. :(

Question then, I am hosting also. My family all have favorites that I make. So now do I change up receipes to be healthy for all of us or just not worry about the calories, fat for the day. ??????

The last few years I have made this potato dish that is basically cheese, cheese, more cheese and a few potatoes thrown in to keep all the cheese together. I know everyone is expecting it again and it always goes over really well but this year I am bringing simple garlic mashed potatoes. When I started my journey I started making it a policy that I don't bring any dish to pass that I am not willing to take home and have in my fridge.

Brownies! I use applesauce instead of oil in the mix, then a layer of (low sodium) peanut butter, then a layer of chocolate frosting. Sooooo much ooey gooey deliciousness!!!!!!

If I'm feeling particularly ambitious, I might make a sculpted cake with fondant. I'm the dessert queen in the family.

All of it. We have my husband and I's entire family of 14 coming to our 4 bedroom house. CRAZY TIME!

I love it though. I wouldn't trade cooking for the holidays for anything.
