First weigh in...a success!

Today was my first weigh in. I have been tracking now for 7 straight days, which is longer than I have ever counted calories. I ate really well the entire week, with no major cravings derailing me. I was able to exercise 5 days like I had planned, though the workouts did not always go for the full 45 minutes. Most days it was 20 mins. on the elliptical and 15-20 minutes lifting. I was down 8.4 lbs for my first weigh in! I know the pace will slow moving forward since this first week my body was getting rid of a lot of toxins, which showed on the scale. I have a long way to go, but seeing early results provides extra determination to change my life style.
