Ok, I have a question. I was doing the C25K program. I was jogging at speed set 4. Last night I decided to walk instead of jog at speed set 4. So, do you burn the same cals? I mean I am doing the same distance, speed and time. Just wondering...hmmm

I was doing the walk/jog thing too. My heart rate goes up when jogging, but you use different muscles...so perhaps its a wash.0

I believe your heart rate is higher when you run, so you will burn more calories.0

The activity doesn't matter, in general. It's your heart-rate that determins calories burned. If you dont have a HRM, you'll never know the difference between the jogging & the walking. For me, my heart rate when waling at 136 bpm can get as high as when i'm jogging.0
