I was having trouble with my 7 year old son arguing and complaining about doing anything which led to my oldest being late to school (I say it's time to go and, "I want this or that, (run off tantrum screaming)) I worked up the courage to talk to his school counselor and I was told to give him options and empower him to make good choices. Make him take on the responsibility of good choice making. Even to use his imagination or go as far as to say yes to juice but after he did what needed to be done. I have been doing this and I tell you it's a whole new kid! I am so thankful for the help and the specific tools which have made me not only able to reach and communicate with my son in a whole new way but most importantly to help him to attain the success he is worthy of. Praise God for Counselors that know what they are talking about. If nothing else this holiday I am thankful for this new found perspective and tools.

This post was more entertaining than Bait Car, but I can't seem to shut it off. It's like a train wreck.
