Ladies, what do you prefer to be called?

I realized after I typed that, that it could be taken the wrong way hehe. What I mean is, If a man is complimenting your looks which do you prefer to be: cute, sexy, beautiful, etc. I've been called all three recently and I must say that being called cute makes be feel like I'm 12 and in junior high again. I prefer sexy the best :blushing: but a compliment is a compliment I guess!

    Beautiful, pretty or sexy are all compliments, cute is a 12 year old.

    It would completely make my day if someone told me I was beautiful. To me it sounds the most sincere. I don't know why but I just don't take it that seriously when I'm called cute! :laugh:

    beautiful or gorgeous. cute makes me feel like I'm 12 and sexy seems generically used by lots of men.

    I used to always like to be called cute. But I think its because I never really thought myself of anything more.

    Now I love when my bf calls me sexy (although, I don't think I would totally love it from everyone), and I like when someone says I look good. Now that I feel a lot better than I ever did, I would rather not be called cute. lol. (even though I probably fall under the "cute" category more because I am just a big kid).

    beautiful or sexy, depending on the occasion. I am a fan of any compliment, so I'll take cute too, but I don't like it as much, especially when it's coming from an attractive man.

    I personally like the ones that are more detailed like wow you have really pretty green eyes. Not just wow your hot! Hot just seems so overused, like you know that guy is telling every girl he thinks is fine that. I also dislike when a guy trys to get with me, before he even knows my name...seriously lame. Guys here is a tip get to know a lady and find something that you love about her and then give her a nice compliment :D

    I like being called all of them, depending on the situation. I don't think there is anything wrong with being called cute-as long as that is not the adjective that is constantly used. Change it up a bit.

    Hell, I know I'm beautiful but it IS nice to hear my fiance say it. <3

    Cute, beautiful, and pretty are all great in my book... but "sexy" makes me feel veeeeeery awkward... lol!!

    If it's my husband talking to me, I like beautiful, pretty, and sexy. If it's just a random person pretty will do.

    Cute is what my 2 year old daughter calls our dog. cat. and bunny. haha.

    I don't like being called any of those things, really.
    Beautiful is a bit cheesy, sexy is awkward and cute is for little kids.

    I like things such as splendid, stupendous, peachy or pretty.

    I dunno... I like it when my hubby calls me "cute." But maybe I'm just nostalgic about the fact that he used to call me that when were in fifth grade :heart:

    I *did* feel complimented the other day when we stopped for dinner. We were at the local Hooters (hey - they make a great grilled cheese sandwich!) and I teased him about how he was unusually quiet and not giving me the typical running commentary on the waitstaff. His response? "Why look at them when I have such a sexy woman sitting right across from me?" Complete nonsense, of course -- but I fell for it anyway!

    cute does seem kid-like..sexy makes me feel *kitten*-ish ( dont ask why..i dunno) and pretty seems like you are ok, but not quite there..LoL..but i think beautiful or gorgeous are what i prefer..

    Beautiful or sexy and cute are all nice compliments but it depends when it its given. When I am dressed to the nines I don't wanna be called cute when sexy is appropriate. But when I am in p.j's with my hair on top of my head and I look cute, cute would be appropriate though I would take any 3 at that time. If I can be called sexy when I am in flannels that is a compliment I would happily take.

    My boyfriend alllwaaayyss calls me cute. Actually it's usually after I do something stupid he does this awkward fake "haha... you're cute" in a weird sarcastic way.
    Beautiful is the best in my mind. Sexy is like... dude back off.

    I don't see anything wrong with someone saying I'm "cute". I find it flattering. When I refer to another girl as cute, I mean she looks healthy, young and natural; someone who can look good with little or no effort.

    I prefer beautiful or pretty. Sexy makes me uncomfortable and I don't think a six foot tall woman can be classified as "cute".

    At my age, I could care less what they call me. Fact is, I never really did. But I think the highest compliment to me personally is to be called smart. I've been called good looking and sexy but I prefer smart. I never much cared about my looks. I'd rather be judged for my character and intelligence.

    I generally don't lik beautiful or sexy, as a lot of creepers use those words :L

    That being said, with the right person in the right situation being told I'm beautiful can make me feel like a princess, and sexy makes me feel...well...sexy :L

    But beautiful has to be from a bf in the right "moment", and sexy...well...definately in certain intimate situations :P
