  • Ok, here we go! I'm so excited!

    Starting weight: 138.8

    Drink 8 glasses of water, 180 minutes of exercise. I think I can handle that. It's hard for me to get all my water in on days when I have to work because they don't allow us to carry drinks on the floor, but I guess that's the point of a challenge! :)

    Weighed in this morning at 244.6. Ugh. Drank some water yesterday (but not enough) and my only exercise was going up & down the stairs several times. Will definitely be trying harder today!!

    Thanx to Loveme445 for sending me the challenge update for our first week! I'm on long enough to at least update for now. If I get a chance, I'll try to hardline later or tomorrow to "meet" everyone on the challenge :flowerforyou:

    I enjoyed the Thanksgiving Holiday - it was pretty stress-free as we went to my in-laws instead of my Mums where Baby & Big Sister were (never a dull or quiet moment :laugh: ). I'm a water-aholic so drinking water is NO problem :drinker: I've been averaging 20+cups a day. And so far have 220 mins of exercise logged :happy:

    So far for this week:
    Stress Free Day - 2/7
    Min 8 Cups Water p/day - 2/7
    Min 180mins Exercise Total - 220/180 (oh yea, forgot to mention I'm an exercise addict :wink: )

    Tonight is dinner at my Mums (much more quiet since it will just be me, Hubz, Big Brother & Neice) - but still needed to make sure I had enough cals to cover Mums home cooking & make up for my deficit yesterday :happy:

    Wow this is going to be interesting challenge. Looking forward to finding out who's team i'm in. Good luck everyone on your goals in this challenge.

    Sorry I'm slow, did post before, however as we are moving house I could not post on Thursday, also I weigh in kgs, is that ok, I guess I could convert,

    My start is 141 kg I did weigh on Thursday am, just took time to find the box the 'puter was in :o)

    As I am very new to this I will need some guidance when it comes to how it runs, sounds like a few of you have done this before.

    Soooooooo very excited to be part of such a motivated and helpful group.

    FIRST WEIGH IN:

    Thanksgiving Morning....

    Last Weigh in....January 5th!


    THIS CHALLENGE IS FOR EVERYONE! THOSE WHO WANT TO MAINTAIN ARE ALSO INVITED TO JOIN US! :0)


    The Challenge will run for 6 weeks....

    Here's what to expect:

    1. Weigh ins are due Every Thursday...with the latest being Saturdays by NOON Central time..

    2. You will be sent a weekly spreadsheet with weigh ins... (given you send me a private message with your email.) You are NOT REQUIRED to give me your email...it's only if you want to see the spreadsheet and compare your losses with the rest of the group and your TEAM!

    3. You will be assigned Team members who are there to help check in on you and encourage you. However, my challenge groups are very friendly and EVERYONE tends to encourage each other, but your team members give you people who are shooting for the same goal as you! :0)

    4. I will post weekly GOALS...they are not Mandatory...but give everyone something to aim for. Also, for those of you in MAINTENANCE....I will have goals that aren't only weight loss related, but also fitness and nutrition related.

    5. Expect to be motivated! :0) My groups are usually VERY enthusiastic, and very involved groups of members. I have some AMAZING people who check in several times a week and send personal messages and encouragement.




    IF THE ABOVE SOUNDS GOOD TO YOU>>>> Here's what to do.....

    1. Reply to this message. State your name and send me a friend request.

    2. When responding to this message tell me which of the following groups you want to join....(keep in mind we only have 6 weeks!)

    MAINTENANCE GROUP (losing nothing,,,,working on fitness, nutrition, and maintaining current weight range)

    Lose 1-5 Pounds

    Lose 6-8 Pounds

    Lose 9-12 Pounds


    3. Check back in on Thanksgiving or the night before with your initial Weigh Ins and to see what team you have been assigned to.



    That's it! EVERYTHING WILL BE POSTED ON THIS THREAD!~!! ALSO....I will copy and paste the Weekly Challenges on my News feed.... (another good reason to send me a friend request!)

    I'm LeeAnn and would like to be in the 6-8 pound group. I think this will help me continue to lose during the Holidays rather than stall!
