I understand that noone is meant to have less than 1200 calories a day, but I find that when I do manage to eat that many calories I gain the weight! Besides, I am finding it very difficult to eat that much! I usually manage around 1000 calories. According to myfitnesspal I already have 500 deficit per day, so how can I be gaining weight!!??
Does anyone know why this is happening?

That might be the problem itself. Your metabolism slowed down to allow for such low calorie intake. Try raising it to 1200 or higher for a few weeks and you'll probably start losing again.0

I weigh myself every week, but measuring? No. Does that matter?0
