This is for Harley Babes (and guys) that want to lose a few pounds while getting support and encouragement from other bikers. In our chapter the Harley slogan 'Live to Ride -- Ride to Live' seems to have changed to "Ride to Eat -- Eat to Ride' which is why we are in the shape we are in today. Most of our destination rides revolve around where we will be having lunch or dinner. So if your leathers are getting a little tight and you have to peel out of your rain suit, this forum is for you.

Here it is, May 31st, and we just got back from a Memorial Weekend ride that once again revolved around where we were stopping for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I feel like I've gained 10 lbs so here we go again.
    My goal :
Lose one pound per week. Eat mostly fruit and veggies. Stay away from all the goodies at work. Keep fat free/sugar free jello, pudding and yogurt handy for those late night sweet tooth attacks.

okay, day 2. Ate nothing but fruit, fat free/sugar free pudding, 100 calorie cookie pack and trail mix until supper. Still ended up 7 calories over my daily quota. Guess there's no dessert for me tonight.

So far so good. Only been a few days, but it hasn't been too difficult. Yesterday I didn't feel the best so I didn't eat dinner. Just had a few Cheetos and a couple bites of soup.
It would be best if I didn't cook big meals every night.......we really don't need all that food late in the day.
Tonight is catfish night. Hopefully, I won't over do it.

okay it's easy to calculate what i eat during the day but supper will be difficult. i may just skip counting supper since everything is home made and size and proportion will be hard to determine. as long as i've done well all day and still have 900 calories to work with at dinner i think i'll be okay.
walked and rode bike again today for an hour.
