Hey guys, I was wondering if there are any fool proof tips to tone up my *kitten*? Spill anything that's worked for you! The more adventurous the better.

  • As much as I hate them, weighted squats & lunges have been my bikini butt savior.

I have NO *kitten* but Jillian Michaels has made it firmer with the 30 Day Shred workout DVD. I think what helped me are the squats and lunges. They be crazy.

I have a big j lo butt, I love it!!!. not the cellulite though.
  • So squats seem to be the way to go? Does that involve loads of reps daily or what would you recommend? Thanks for the help.
  • Yep, squats and lunges. Using weight will be more effective. Not necessary to do a ton of reps. 4 sets of 10 twice a week would do a lot to firm up the backside.
  • Thanks very much, I'll try it out.

My *kitten* is usually flat, no matter how much I weigh. I want to lift it to make it round. I need to tone my lower back/upper butt and the bottom to lift it all. Squats will still do all that?
  • Thats exactly the same as me! I want it to be more perky or something, it seems like it's too long. A button butt would be nice.

Cook hip-lift, step-ups, cable kick back, squats, lunges

Cook hip-lift for glute activation if you don't know what it is.

  • That looks do-able! Cheers, I'll stick it in my routine.

Ha! I like my bigger rounded butt! It's mostly muscle.. from squats and lunges. Curves honey, they are not evil, they are sexy!

I think I have a pretty nice *kitten* for a fat guy, and have found that a long bicycle ride works wonders back there. Also walking lunges with a bit of weight and occasionally the glute machine. Wishing you luck!!

I know exercise that will lift the *kitten*, but non to get rid of it.
Cycling is a big one, the rest were already mentioned.

Physique 57 has done wonders for me in the past. It tones up the butt and thighs and it's fun!

Personally, I've learned to love the curve. And the lunges.

Me either but I loathe lunges and squats...I assume that running and walking would help as well or even kick boxing since it involves alot of kicking. Good luck on toning yer *kitten*!

Butt lifts using an exercise ball.

Lay on your back. Rest heels of feet on the exercise ball. Lift your butt up off the ground while balancing yourself. Repeat.

    Good luck!
