so around april last year, i was running probably about 3-4 days a week. over the summer, i started the c25k program, but i got sick, stopped, and never really picked it back up. and then i gained 30 lbs. yeah. today was the first time i had run in a LONG time. and 2 things happened that made me super duper happy.
1. usually, i run with a plan. i had been doing the c25k program before, and before that, i at least tried to schedule myself (ex. run for 3 min, walk for 2 min). however, this time, not expecting much from myself, i just ran! i put a piece of paper over the time and distance and just took off. and somehow, i pushed myself further than i have have! i guess it really is all in your head...
2. so a lot of my fellow runners might have this problem...my legs rub together when i run! they were hurting while i was running but they didn't look that red, and even though they hurt SO badly i kept going! and when i got off i looked down, and there was blood all over them! normally this would have grossed me out, but i was so proud of how i had kept running through that, i didn't care! woohoo!
thanks for reading. hope you have a fantastic day!

Good job, great positive attitude, but do look after your thighs, I hope they are better now - can you get some running leggings to help with this?0
