new and losing for good in 09

Hello,
I just signed up and I am loving this site with the reports and goals. It seems very easy to use. I am doing it and mytrainerbob. I need all of the support I can get to get this weight off for good. I did pretty good today but it told me I did not consume enough calories. It is hard for me to eat right and get enough calories without snacking on food I don't need. I tried to make sure I got some vegetables and water in my meals. Anyway, I hope to meet some friends here who can help me and maybe I can encourage others as well.

    Thanks for the motivation. I know I can do it. I have had a very busy day today with meetings and working late tonight. I still need to get on my elliptical. I set a goal to burn 500 calories tonight and I will do it even though it is getting late. I know if I start making excuses this early I will never meet my goals and then I will feel lousy. If I set small goals for myself I find it easier to meet them and feel better after it is over. When I set them too large it almost seems like i will never meet them.
