Programming BF scale

I recently had to replace my old body fat scale. The new one has an "athlete" setting and I am having a hard time choosing the right setting for it.

The manual says to set it to athlete if I exercise vigorously for 2 hours 3 days a week. I exercise vigorously for at least an hour, sometime 1.5, 6-7 days a week. I also think I have a slightly more muscular build than average.

Should I go with athlete? Depending on the setting I get a reading of 24.8% or 28.8%.

Don't bother. BIA scales are worthless.

The BF scale gives you 2 different readings depending on the setting - alarm bells are ringing here, your BF doesn't change from second to second, depending your decision to be an 'athlete'. I'd say ignore all the BF readings from scales like that - they are BS.
