That sounds really good! If you like using oats and you're big on protein...one of my new favorite breakfasts is breakfast tacos with turkey bacon, or a bowl of oatmeal with peanut butter and a banana. Got these ideas from my MFP friends and love them!0

everything but the eggs....blah....raw?0
-
thats what my wife says also lol, i eat alot of raw eggs, fish, meat and chicken. She gets mad but its so good tasting raw0
-
Not a chance...even reading about eating raw eggs makes me feel sick. I won't even eat raw cookie dough because it has uncooked eggs.0

Salmonella FTW0

I eat my oats raw. I often wondered if they digest the same way or not....I just do it because I'm hungry in the morning and can't wait for the water to boil.
I know some things are better for you if you cook them a little (steamed broc for example). I think, at least that is what I read, unitl the experts come up with some new contradictory scientific findings.0 -
No. I am motovated, but not that motovated. No raw eggs and if I need protein I eat turkey or chicken (cooked)0
-
You should watch the episode of "My Strange Addiction" where the gentleman age raw meat...He had parasites growing in him that he didn't even know about. Be careful!0

Raw eggs would be like sucking down snot!...Just saying. LOL0
-
I love eggs but not fond of them raw. I've eaten small raw quail eggs on sushi and that was a bit hard to get down, not bad tasting but just didn't like the yucky consistency... and not a big fan of oats either, so no... that wouldn't be something I'd want to eat. I'll try anything once though. I'm pretty open-minded about food... but those eggs would need to be farm fresh and organic!!0

Cook the eggs and I probably would. But that would add up to alot of calories for me.0

the protein in raw eggs is less bioavailable0

Used to back in the day.

I eat my oats raw too! lol especially in the summer w/ a little soy milk, cinnamon and fresh fruit, kinda like cold cereal.0 -
No. I don't care for eggs.0
-
unless you just like the taste, no advantage to eating eggs raw...
I grind raw oats in coffee grinder and put em in my protein shakes0 -
No. I think safety dictates that chicken placenta be cooked.0

Love eggs. Have absolutely no need or desire to eat them raw.0

Yes, but I'd substitute the eggs with either more whey or some soy, and I'd add some fruits and maybe some green veggie juice from my juicer.0 -
Hellz to the NO!0

No! Raw eggs are not my thing and I'm not big on oatmeal. And I like to save my calories so I have some left later in the day, that would take up more than I'd like for breakfast!0

Salmonella FTW
At least it's not raw chicken0 -
I like my eggs cooked and I only eat a percentage of yolks (if i have two or three eggs, i eat one yolk) and i like irish steel cut oatmeal with crunchy almond butter in it
Edit: Sorry that was all about me LOL My boss just sent me a messed up proof for a huge account!0 -

bleh, you just made eggs sound disgusting. And I love eggs! lol0 -
the protein in raw eggs is less bioavailable
source?
just curious. i don't eat raw (rare beef, but not raw), but i feed my dog raw (eggs, chicken, beef, pork, fish, deer, rabbit, bison, etc) and it was my understanding that, at least for canines, the proteins were more easily and quickly digested, as well as more bioavailable, when raw.0 -
