Hi, I'm new to this logging your exercise thing, what activities on here might burn as many calories as playing airsoft or woodsball?

Wow... I had no idea what either of those activities were. haha. Fascinating. So I had to look them up. I would imagine that something like that would be hard to assign a specific calorie count because it seems to me that the level of activity could vary drastically. But then again, I've never played!

It does vary drastically, not everyone is as active as others, but that goes for any sport. A running back is going to get more of a workout than the QB. But I carry a standard light Mil load-out of maybe 20 some odd lbs and run around the woods for 3 - 10 hours every 2 weeks or so? I know this has got to be an unusual question, sorry, but any ideas are accepted right now.
And I'm part of Middle Georgia Airsoft if anyone is interested in joining our team www.midgaairsoft.com the site is always under construction since we are always getting new members and such.

Well the best I could guess is that if you aren't able to use a HRM then compare how you feel to how you feel when you do something you do know the calories for. For an example. If jogging makes you feel moderately out of breath and tired and you know you burn 300 calories in 30 minutes and you feel the same the entire time you're doing the aforementioned activities, then I'd compare it to that. Sorry I can't be more help, but that's what I would do if I didn't have a HRM.
