:glasses: A friend from work told me about this website just this morning. I have used the food diary and WOW, I was amazed at how much I have learned about the foods I eat on a daily basis. Maybe this is just what I need to loose the weight. As I told my family and friends today: I'm back on the weightloss train again. This time I hope to stay there till the job is done!!!!!!! :smile:

    i just joined too. i entered everything in the food log and i was really amazed. if you had asked me yesterday if i ate healthy i would have said for sure. i was over my calorie limit at 3:00 today. :sad: i'm definitly motivated to not eat any donuts tomorrow at the office.

    Wow, i can't believe you all already responded to my little message!!! I think I just might llike this stuff :tongue: I just need to be motivated. I really want to excersice and eat right, but I also work full time and am raising a family. It's a bit tough some days. I hope to get my husband on the right track with me too. I brought home Subway tonight for dinner.....he doesn't like Subway. My opinion is it's too healthy for him :laugh: He will come around.

    Hi Rhonda......not from Fl here.......California here. You are gonna love and hate this site. But it will keep u on track and honest with yourself. Make sure you log everything...food. exercise everything. Drink lotsa water and ask ALOT of questions...................Welcome to the club!:flowerforyou:

    Welcome to THE best site on the web!
    Between the easy to use food counter (which by the way is SUCH an eye opener!) and all the wonderfully supportive members, you WILL be able to lose the weight that you want to, AND, it'll "almost" be easy doing it!
    I recommend logging ALL your foods BEFORE you have them, rather than later, as it tends to lead to better food choices. (not to mention you'll know if you've got enough numbers left to have a night time snack, like I ALWAYS try to do!) Some people also like to weigh and measure some things, such as meats, rather than just estimating and possibly being WAY off!
    Also, drink LOTS of water, it REALLY DOES help! :drinker:

    Congrats on the wedding and broken ciggy habit. I know, I said I was going to do laundry, but this is adicting....at least it's better than those ciggys!!!!
    I work in the medical field, so knowing what to do about my weight isn't the problem. Doing what I need to is. I couldn't believe the nutritional info on the foods I ate today. I think you should add them to your diary before eating them. I know if I had, I would have made a few different choices.
