    This thread is about something.

The other thread is about nothing.

Right now we're discussing favorite holidays, excluding Christmas.

:ohwell: That's the one part I actually got. Fudgesicles.

Ok, the writing is too small to read but can't we agree in order to be classified as a donut it must be round with a whole in the center?

I disagree! A cinnamon twist has no hole a maple bar has no hole and I think anything a donut shop sells is a donut!

All due respect Max, but this time you are wrong deep fried dough covered in icing is a donut, that too is a fritter!

No wait. That rules out my jelly donut. So,no, that can't be the rule.

Here's the rule: Apple Fritters are not donuts.

    The end.

    Agree.

Stop agreeing with me..it's not helping your case Max

Ok, the exception to the donut hole rule is the jelly and boston creme DONUT
How can they not be donuts, with the name donut in their name?
    C'mon people!

    and that's OK!

next time I take the kids to D&D, I may just check out the 'fritter' to see what it's all about

Ok, here is the rule. It has to have the word "donut" in it when you order it. For example:

I would like a glazed donut

I would like a jelly donut.

    What doesn't work:

I would like a apple fritter donut

I would like a cinammon roll donut

Lots of donuts dont have the word donut in their name, like a kruller, or an old fashioned or an eclair.

Google " kinds of donuts" The end And what about a donut cushion you sit on? is it a donut too? so by your definition you would eat it instead of sit on it! I end My case
