How to beat fatigue?

What causes fatigue? I can eat the same exact number of calories, carbs and fat over two days. One day I just want to lay down and do nothing and the next I can go and go. Is it protein, iron, salt, all of the above?

I find weather has an affect on me. Also days I don't exercise I feel more tired. A lack of protein can be causing it as well.0
