Hello from the Pacific Northwest

Hello there. I have been with MFP since August 2011, but this is my first post.
A little bit about myself. My name is Diana. I am 37 and a single mother of an active little 5 year old and I started my journey in July when I hit about 320lbs.
The day before my birthday I got on the scale for...well giggles really, I just wanted to know what I weighed. I knew my clothes were not fitting anymore. I knew that I would be close to 300 because a year early I was 280, but never did I image I would be 311lbs. I topped at 320. I decided that I had to change. I have a beautiful boy that I want to see grow up and get married and have kids. I want to be able to keep up with him. I want to be able to move without it being such a hard task. I couldn't walk without wheezing. My body ached all the time. I couldn't sleep at night, without pills. I would wake up in the middle of night from sleep apnea. I want to be able to find clothes that actually fit me in a regular store. I want to be able to go places without having to wonder if I will fit in the chairs. I recently went to a theme park for my son, and my weight stopped me from being able to enjoy some of the rides with my son, he had to go alone. NEVER AGAIN!
So I joined WW online and the gym. At the time I wasn't working so I could go all the time. Although there is nothing wrong with WW, I just couldn't keep up with the points thing and not to mention the costs, I couldn't afford it. I was told by a friend about MFP. So I gave it a try in August....and LOVE IT!! I have shared it with numerous of friends. Now I just doing calorie counting and meal balancing and I walk every day. Since July 1st, when I started my journey I have lost over 60lbs. Right now, my first big goal is to get to 250. 9 lbs to go. That is what I weighed before I got pregnant with my son, over 6 years ago. My next goal, is to get in the hundreds, I can't wait.
I would love some MFP friends, so please consider me. I do believe the support of my friends and family have helped get me this far. And I would love help support you. I also thought I would share a picture comparison. I am not quite comfortable with body pics just yet, but you can definitely see the changes in my face. In the "before" pictures I weighed roughly 280 (so 40lbs less than my heaviest) and my "now" pic was from yesterday, where I am now in the 250 range.
Thank you, and I look forward to getting to know some of you.
Luv, Diana
