I have always wondered this, I am happy to add to this thread.
I am currently 141 lbs and I am 5'11, tomorrow I will know for sure, but last time I checked I am a size 5 jeans and tops are usually a small.0 -
I'm 5'10" and in the 260's. My size is US 22.
20 lbs ago I was in a size 24.0 -
5'7 and at 157, I'm in a size 12.... Based on this post I'm thinking I either have a big *kitten*, or need to see if a smaller size fits yet.0
-
5'7" at 150 size 4 or 6 depends on brand. In juniors I am a 7 or 9 once again depends on brand0

At my WW goal I was 153 and a size 10 in bottoms and a M in tops. 165-190 I was a 12-14 and a Large in tops. Now I am over 200, losing the baby weight. I'm an XL in tops and a 16-18 in bottoms (or XL). Really the 18;s i bought immediately when I started the gym a few months ago are much too loose now. Ultimately I want to get back to 153, re-evaluate and then focus on body fat. Even pre-pregnancy when i hovered around 189, I was doing weight training a lot and I think i looked thinner then what the scale said so I know that the # really doesn't mean as much, however over 200lbs is not good for me either.
I"m amazed at the different sizes. I think when I reached my WW goal I was thinner and looked good in clothes and ok naked, but i'm going for the next level this time. I want muscles.
I'm 5'7" and around 218 now.0 -
I'm 5'8 and right now I'm about 150 lbs0
-
5'11" 170. Size 30x32 jeans.0
-
5'9 used to be close to 300lbs jeans were size 38-40
now 174lbs size 30-32 depends on the brand of jeans.0 -
I'm 5'9'' and I weigh a bit less than 160. I wear a size 4-6 in jeans. When I started realizing I fit more into size six, I realized it was time to lose some weight!0
-
Right now I'm 5'7" and 180 and wear a size 12 in pants/jeans
when I was 150-155 I wore size 10 and SOME 8's.
It's so funny to me that I'll drop 30 lbs, look way better but only go down one pant size. I'll never understand the human body!0 -
It's amazing how people of similar height/weights can be so different in size! Makes me think I shouldn't worry about pant size so much.
I am 5'10" and have been as high as 149 and as low as 129 and have always been a size 9. A bit looser in 129 and a bit tight at 149 but still a 9. Kind of frustrating!0 -
i'm 5'7" 137-138#, size 2/260

I am 6 foot, I am currently 262lbs and a size 18. At 275lbs I was a size 20-22. I am hoping to get to 176lbs and I think I will be a size 12ish.0

5' 7'' & 162 lbs. Size 9 jeans. My goal weight is 1300

I'm about 5'8, currently weigh 158, and am in the weird inbetween of 10/11 and 12/13. Most of my 12/13s are big, and most 10/11s are a little snug. My goal weight is 150-155, I just really want to tone up now. I just want to fit comfortably in a 10/11. The smallest I ever was was a size 9, and I was 135 then, and was really scrawny.0

i am 5'7", 126lbs, and a size four (or sometimes six or sometimes two)0

Height: 5'8"

I am 5'8.... curently 134lbs trying to lose another 10 lbs.....the sizing all depends on the clothing designers, it all varies.0

When I joined MFP in July 2010, I weighed 203 pounds and was "sausaging" myself into size 16 jeans (you know what I'm talking about! I should have gone up to a size 18, but I refused to buy clothes in that size). I'm 5'7" and currently weigh 175.5 pounds. I'm now wearing size 12 jeans and a large shirt.
When I lost a lot of weight in 2006, I got down to 148-ish and was wearing a size 8 jeans and a medium shirt. That's the size I want to get back to. I didn't realize how great I looked then because I have been overweight my entire life and didn't have the proper perspective/mindset (I still felt like a fat person). In retrospect (now that I'm losing the weight I regained), I love how I looked then. I only have a few pictures of myself during the brief time I was thin and healthy, but they are very motivating.
I think it's really interesting how different everyone's stats are. I guess a lot depends on bone structure and where/how one carries one's weight. I don't want to get below 148-150. I think I would look too thin. I was running and had toned muscles, so I think I looked the best I ever have when I was that size.
Good luck to all of you!0 -
i am 5'7", 126lbs, and a size four (or sometimes six or sometimes two)
yes see it all depends on the designer... some are smaller some larger....i am the same with sizes...0 -
I'm 5'8" and a little less than 135 pounds. I'm about a 4 at most stores and a 2 at American Eagle. I ordered a 26 in William Rast jeans, they use European sizing for women.
Hope that helps. =]0 -
I'm 5'10" and currently weight 173 lbs. I'm still wearing my now loose size 16 jeans. I have discovered I can pull them down without unzipping them though! I don't know what the deal is, but even at my lightest weight of 150, I could still only wear a size 12! What gives?!0
-
5'11, 210, i'm wearing a 12.0
-
I am 5'8" and currently 155 lbs. I wear a size 8 and they are starting to get too loose. I have a lot of muscle and so my goal weight is 137-147 somewhere in there. I Just want to get into my 4-6 size jeans again! At 147 I will be in size 6 and at 137 I will be able to wear my size 4 jeans. I will do it! I should mention losing body fat % is my main goal as the scale is just a number.0
-
I'm 5'7"; at my highest weight, around 168, I was wearing a size 11 in pants. Now I'm down to 137 and I'm wearing a 4!0
-
