    Great idea DJ!

    Would love to see more people stick around! But it's true if you are not ready you are not ready. I've been there before. Forcing yourself to do something you don't want to just results in frustration. But there's nothing wrong with being here and getting advice and ideas for when you are ready! :) Sometimes all it takes is a little support from some friendly people to get you moving in the right direction.

    I for one am hooked on MFP! :D

    Yeah, right in front of the treadmill! Maybe even a motion sensor poster so that when I stop running it will scream at me to get my pansy *kitten* in gear and move it!

    And if I might add for the newcomers:

    * A pound is a pound, muscle or fat.
    * This is not the place for fad diets, we lose weight through calorie counting and exercise 'round these parts.
    * If you would like to discuss religion, politics, adult topics or just argue we have groups for that.
    * Stick with it, log everything you eat and get moving and this will work. Promise.
    * If you'd like to lose weight by only eating 500 calories a day and taking pregnant lady pee...start a thread! Not ALL arguing happens in the debate group after all... we're starving and we have aggression to let out.

    Hell's to the yeah! If you want it bad enough, you are going to do what it takes. Pain is temporary, but pride is forever! This is not a craze, but a lifestyle change. We can only show you the door, but it's up to you to walk through it!

    Welcome all Newbies! This site is the greatest! Stick with MFP. Give it at least 6 months of daily focus and logging. Do your very best each and every day in staying "under" with calories, sugar, sodium and fats and yet exceeding your protein and fiber goals. See what happens. Lots of support here on MFP. Give it your very, very best! Be sure to take pictures along the way!

    WOW, it's funny becasue it's true! As far as sanity? Well I think we all have to be a little bit off. As Pink says, "Raise your glass if you are wrong in all the right ways!" Just make sure that glass is full of water or maybe a MGD 64 on a really rough day! :drinker:

    ... or full of pregant lady pee (although I am confused why we have to call it pregnant lady lol, there is no such thing as preggers bloke... unless you are a seahorse of course ^^)
