Stair Runners ?

I am a 42 year old father of three just trying to stay healthy and in shape ! .... I do 3 gym/strength days and 3 stair/cardio workouts a week. Ill typically run between 250 - 320 flights of stairs a week ... Any other stair runners out there that want to share workouts ?

  • I run stairs too! Its the best workout ever :) (that and zumba) I run stairs usually 3x a week and I will run stairs for about 20 min straight so about 200 flights :)
  • Awesome ! ... Do you have a decent sized stadium to run? ... ours is only 4 flights up so its A BUNCH of up & down sets ... I usually do 5 up & downs (20 flights) then run a 400 ... for 5-6 sets ...... a 100-120 flight workout usually takes around 25-30 minutes .... then 3 sets of 10 plyo box hops with 60 X crunches between sets

    I'm about to add this to my routine. I may have to wait until it doesn't get so dark so early since I only have a high school football stadium nearby and it's not the safest place to be after dark.
