I found this quote once "*kitten* what you'd like to change..."
Was this a Freudian slip?
  • I made my New Year's resolution back in September when I first joined MFP. Like most resolutions, I kept at it for about a month, and then I fell off. I got serious again about a month ago, and have lost 8 pounds in one of the hardest seasons to maintain a certain weight, much less lose. My goals for this year (beginning a month ago), are to weigh less than my husband and to have my body reflect my inner strength. I would also like to begin training for the 3-Day breast cancer walk soon.

(should be "assess" for those who didn't get it)

    As for me:
    GET A NEW JOB
don't slide back into old eating habits now that I happy with my weight
USE all the expensive weight equipment I have sitting on the sunporch

Mine is to get back under my goal weight and maintain that rather than maintain my almost-goal weight, like I've done this whole year.

But it's the one on your list you can accomplish overnight all on your own. I got by with a little help from my friend, Nicorette. It was SO worth it to go from :smokin: to :glasses: .

To lose 80 pounds. I would like to lose 100, but I'm trying to be realistic. I know that others have done that, but I seem to be a littler slower at this than others. Basically, to keep up what I'm doing now...but try to exercise more.

I just want to be healthy and feel pretty. I am so sick of not feeling like I am pretty because of my weight. I want to go to the store and buy something that fits and doesnt leave bits of me peeking through the fabric for all the world to see (the bits that dont need to peek through at least) I am tired of being the girl that cannot make a decision about where to eat because I feel guilty if I enjoy food. I am tired of running as much as I do for the sole reason that "it will make me pretty". I want to stop hating myself and look in a mirror and actually see something good.

    -Become a runner
-Save enough money for a down payment on our house!
    -Be happy & healthy
  • My goals are to lose at around 25-30 lbs before graduation(May 22nd) and then lose between 17-23 lbs more pounds before my Birthday in October and keep it off for the rest of the year.
  • Well, lose these last 10-15lbs...and get back to do what I love: photography and scrapbooking. I will take a few photography classes and go on a few photography field trips, hopefully one per season.

To exercise (preferably run/jog) at least 20 minutes every day. And that can even be *gag* weight training.
