I just wanna know how your workout goes...i talked to a trainer at my gym (planet fitness) and he told me the best way to go about a work out is 7-10 min warming up with the bike, treamill, eliptical, ect. then do strength training and then least 30 min of cardio....he also told me not to stretch before but stretch after im all done.....

is this all accurate??

Yes, although you wont necessarily be fresh for the cardio. Personally, i like to do my cardio in the morning and lift in the evening. Also, with the stretching, do dynamic stretches like star jumps or just walking before.

Stretch before and after any workout to help avoid injury. That trainer is incorrect at that statement. Everything else sounds good.

For somebody starting out, sure. It's fine.
Eventually, you'll need to split your training, because the intensity and duration will increase.

You do cardio one day, then resistance the next and on and on. It's an option that allows for rest. Here is my workout.

In general I do 90 minuted of cardio with 30 minutes of resistance 6 days a week.

I rest resistance Tuesday and cardio every 10 days or so.
My resistance is lower weights but high reps, then heavy every 3rd workout.

And I split my body into 3 muscle groups:
    1. Legs
    2. Chest- triceps - shoulders
    3. Arms - back

I do a lot of weird things for cardio like military march, boxing type training,
dancing, floor rolls, squat thrust intervals and the good ole jumping jack.
And I jog, swim, play tennis, fast walk and bike.

Lost 64lbs and nearly 20% body fat - it works for me.
