Congrats! I remember crying the first time I did it, lol! Keep being awesome!

    I did, too!

Congrats on completing your three miles. It is a huge accomplishment!!

I did three! It was super emotional for me, I ran several 5ks, a 10k, and a 5mile before but on Labor Day I ran a 5k without stopping and I was a sobbing mess. My Grandma passed away just days before it and being able to run it without stopping...needless to say- it was an amazing feeling!! Congrats to you! I'm proud, that is just great! ((HUG!!))

What a proud moment for you! I started running this past spring and went from couch 2 5K to Half Marathon in 7 months! It's an incredible feeling. I started a blog to encourage others and journal about my journey through better health and fitness

HA! I had a similar facebook post yesterday. " I RAN FOR 20 MINUTES! WITHOUT STOPPING." Congrats, it's a great feeling :)
  • I can barely run a mile without stopping! lol Good job!!
  • Way to go! I can remember during my last weight loss episode that when I could run a mile again and feel good doing it - that was an incredible day at the gym. Stick to it and next thing we know, you'll be in a 1/2 marathon.
  • Thats good! Sounds fun too!

Super job! Keep up the good work. Your progress is great.
  • I'm still at 2.8 miles......so, WTG! I'm getting there slowly! I have plantar facitis and it makes it difficult to run for very long, especially knowing that after the run, I'll be soaking my foot and regreting it. YAY YOU!

You could be entering into a lifestyle change. Running is addictive. It's true ... I read it on the Internet.

Consider yourself warned and congratulated all in one!!

The above is true. Take it from someone who was out at 9:00 last night, in 25 degrees, with blustery wind, because I will NOT miss a running day!!!!
Welcome to the world of running!! It is an awesome place to live! :) Congrats and good luck on that 5K.
  • That rules. Nice job.

The 5k in under 30m was my goal.

Keep it up and you'll be doing 26 miles before you know it!

This is my goal as well.

    It's true! LOL

It is definitely true. I asked my 17 year old son if he wanted to go running with me one morning, he said, "Running AND getting up early, sign me up!" Sarcasm was just dripping. I realized that it is kind of crazy to get up at 5:00 just to get in four miles or so before work. My last Half Marathon, it rained the whole time, and I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT. That is just not normal. LOL.
  • I know this feeling very well. I ran my first 5k on the treadmill non-stop last night. I am signed up to do a New Years 5k run so I was so determined that I would get there. It feels so good.

Congratulations I am so happy for you , and you can do a 5K you are already there.
  • AWESOME! way to go! :) best feeling
