Only did one more run this week for a total of 65.0 for the month. Next month I want to do 75 hopefully keep a routine all month and have a half marathon on the 22nd

On another topic - today is our 19 year wedding anniversary!!! we will be celebrating that tomorrow - with a run :bigsmile: and a healthy dinner :happy:

11/12/28 - 1 mile total (HIIT)
11/12/29 - 4 miles. It was supposed to be 5, but I was short on time and it was on the treadmill. 4 miles on the dreadmill is quite an accomplishment for me but it was that or brave the windy, cold track. Cold I can handle, but high winds + cold, nope.
I have a 6 miler scheduled for Saturday, which would put me over my goal.
4 is pretty much my max on the elliptical or treadmill as well, unless I watch something extra exciting on the TV - like a scary movie. I managed 5 when I watched Julia's Eyes earlier this week - a super scary Spanish movie with lots of running & chasing :laugh:0 -

I can't update my ticker b/c I am not in my laptop, but +6 miles today - that makes my grand total 55.1. Goal reached!!
I have to say if it wasn't for this group, I would not have run today. I am between backshifts and coming down with a cold. It was snowing/raining (at least it was pretty warm). I would have just put it off until tomorrow if it weren't for meeting my goal0 -

I am happy you made it - it is a great feeling! YOU must join us in January tooI understand you may need to recoperate from your cold though... although for me (and for some colds) exercise helps me.... depends on teh cold though...if is flu like I just need to rest....

Exciting about the half!!!! Which program are you using? I am running a half as well, and I am looking at Galloway, and Hal Hidgon. I will probably modify the programs a bit to fit my schedule better... but i am interested in opinions on other programs as well... My half is in middle of March.0 -

Exciting about the half!!!! Which program are you using? I am running a half as well, and I am looking at Galloway, and Hal Hidgon. I will probably modify the programs a bit to fit my schedule better... but i am interested in opinions on other programs as well... My half is in middle of March.
I was going to do a Hal program but decided to go with the Runners World Smart Coach app. I already had it downloaded. I wanted to find one that had me doing race distance or close to it prior to the race. A lot of them seemed to top out at 10 miles. I didn't like the idea of having 3 more left to do that I hadn't run before. And I was already doing 9 milers.0 -
Sounds good & interesting - I will look into that program.0

As a team we ran 1,329 miles!!!! and we were HOT (red) - we came 82% towards our team's goal (1,631 miles)! which is fantastic considering some of our poor feet/legs/backs and heels (: which most are now on the road of recovery!!!

Got in 7 more miles yesterday! January will be slow...hard to go long distance on the treadmill. But this challenge inspired me to set a year goal of at least 1000 miles (did 900 in 2011). My hope is to pass that early & see just how far I can go....we'll say my stretch goal is 1500. This year I will train for my first full as I completed four half's this year.0

Great finish!!!I have updated the spread sheet and will post it tomorrow evening for the final update! I got 71 for you for December.
I am pretty sure you can't post it on the profile page... you could possible post it on your 'blog' page though.
