So, I have been on this site since July and I finally decided to do an introduction...My name's Ashley and I'm 29 yo...I'm a 911 dispatcher and I work 12 hour shifts from 1800-0600. So, I spend a lot of time sitting. I have a walking video that I try to do while I'm at work. It's also hard for me to get to the gym every day like I would like to, mainly because I drive 45 mins to get to work and by the time I get home, I'm exhausted. I'm looking to lose around 50 more lbs and would love to have the motivation and inspiration from others. I hope everyone had a great holiday! :)

You can't skip your workouts! maybe you could go to the gym on your way home? Once you sit down after a hard days work...it's over.. i'm adding you

As you know, I am also a nightshift 911 dispatcher. It is SO hard to incorporate exercise with this kind of shift. Sometimes, we do squats at work. My trainer's wife is also a 911 dispatcher and she has challenged me to do 300 squats a night (on nights we don't train with her hubby). I also found a quick workout online on Pinterest that I try to do in spare time at home.
Alas, I feel every moment of "sitting" here at work.

Well, I'm not necessarily skipping my workouts now...my roommate recently moved out of the basement so I am currently setting up an area down there to do my workouts when I don't feel like going to the gym
