I was just wondering if anyone knows how many calories a Zumba session (1 hour) earns???

    I'm sure it's different for everyone. I would suggest investing in a heart rate monitor that can tell you how many calories you're burning. I don't take regular Zumba classes but I do, do Zumba 2 on the Wii and when I do the hour long class I have burned 1,200 calories...

    Like the PP mentioned I would suggest investing in a heart rate monitor to know exactly. Out of classes that I have attended, I have ranged anywhere from 600-1000. I am also an instructor and my classes typically are around 850 for me. I have had a Polar F7 HRM for about 4 years now and I have been super pleased with it.
