    Just did my Day 1 - struggled, they weren't perfect, but muddled through! Very proud...more than I thought I would be able to do during that time span. i did the 60 seconds of rest in between, except I rested for 90 seconds before trying my max...I am shooting to do one more than it says for the max. I recently started exercising after not doing so for a very long time, so I am hoping that as I improve in other areas of my fitness, my push ups will begin to look better. I am really excited about this!!

    I think I am going to take more than 6 weeks too...I was reading through the rest of week 1, and it does say if you need to repeat a week that is fine.

    I am doing the "man-style" pushups, and I seem to always bottom out going down. So, I plan on repeating week one since I am just getting back into working out and exercising.

    I just completed my day 2 of week 1, and it did go pretty good...a little better than day 1. Still working on it!
  • Finished week 4 day 2 today. I am on the level 3 program. Completed 25 + 29 + 25 + 25 + (52 on final set) = 156 total pushups :)

    OK, completed Day 3 this morning - my max has gone from 3 to 5. Lame, I know - but baby steps, right?! :drinker:

    I did part of this challenge for a while last year and noticed significant improvements in just a couple of weeks.

    I just downloaded the app so I can hopefully stick with it and track it easier. I'm starting at 12 unmodified based on my initial test. Good luck everyone!

    CHECKING IN .... day 3 finished at my max of 16 (modified). Looking forward to week 2!!! Where is everyone?!?!!

    Hey there! My initial test was 3 modified pushups. Week 1 Day 1 max was 4, Day 2 max was 6, and Day 3 max was 8!!!!! Sooooooo excited about my level of increase! Still doing modified pushups but hey,it's more than I could do before!

    I initialed at 29, maxed at 32 for this week! Kind of worried that my other workouts are gonna affect the numbers a little bit but hey, as long as I keep working towards my goals it's gonna get better!

    Started with week 3 Level 3 - day 3 I completed 122 (22+30+20+20 + 30 max). No modifications allowed for black belts LOL!!

    I completed Week 3 Day 2 100 pushups (25, 15, 15, 25, 20). I modified the 15s, and 20 only)

    Wow! Everyone seems to be doing great! Sorry I was MIA this weekend, had to leave unexpectantly for a funeral. My last set last week (week 1 day 3) was 8... Up from my initial test of 4! YAY!

    Here's the spreadsheet of everyone's progress. (I only put in the last set of the last day, not the total amount of pushups done). If I missed anyone let me know? GOOD LUCK THIS WEEK!

    Aw, sorry to hear that! Glad that you're walking though... =) Much better on the knees.

    I've been sick, so I didn't do anything this week! Sorry to say I'll be doing week two over... But I'm not giving up!!!

    I'm doing this, too. I got away from it for a bit, so I restarted on Week 3 last week. I got through that and did Week 4, Day 1 yesterday. Gonna move on to Week 4, Day 2 tomorrow.

    Back when I was in my best shape ever, I was doing 400 pushups a day. At eight different times of day, I'd drop and do 50. I wanna get back to being that guy again. Even if I don't ever get to do 100 in a row (as the program promises), if I can get back to doing my 50x8 thing, I'll be a happy guy.

  • I might give this a good try actually. Im in ROTC and can do 72 in a row right now. Boy would the cadets jaws drop if I did 100!
