Mine is set to maintain and that gives me about 1490. I notices that the plan I am following-the Jamie Eason Livefit Trainer, it has rough dietary guidelines and usually comes out pretty low in cals for a ton of food, you might want to look at the plan:

1200 can be hard, I think people should just set their cals to maintenance at the their goal weight. You might lose slower, but it's a diet, it's just the way you have to eat/exercise forever. Does that make sense?

    My meals
Fruit and Fage greek yogurt for breakfast/snack
For lunch I usually have some version of a salad with ground turkey and marinara or taco seasoning, or maybe chicken breast and buffalo chicken sauce
I usually include some baby carrots and maybe a fruit cup as well as a jiff peanut butter to go for dessert

For dinner I have chicken curry sans rice, spaghetti using spaghetti squash, buffalo chicken sandwiches, low calorie chili, chicken veggie soup, etc.

I just started today and am using the calculator tool so far it is going great. I love how I can keep up with what I have eaten and how much I have left for the day. It has helped me decide to eat dinner or drink a protein shake.

I typically eat between 800-1200, I am trying to eat closer to 1200 now because i stopped losing weight (for the past two weeks) when i was typically losing around .5 pounds a week. I never truly believed that you have to eat more to lose more, until I hit my plateau. Anyway, you can take a look at my diary and see what i typically eat, it doesn't vary much because i LOVE what i make so much that i can't wait to eat it everyday, but i try new recipes pretty often!
