Sorry...never tried it, but would be interested to hear what others have to say...

I'm at my goal weight but still hate my tummy (little bit of pooch still and a little too much skin! Bleugh!) so would be keen to give something like this a shot!

I don't know anything about the Flat Belly Diet, but since I have lowered my intake of carbs (still eat them, just not as many!) the biggest difference is that my stomach is getting flatter and flatter!

I cook from it everyday. I'm at my goal weight, but still love it because the foods are healthy, they incorporate a MUFA in every meal which is important, and it is helping me maintain. They do have a 14 day meal plan to help jump start your weight loss as well as a recipe for a "Sassy Water" which helps eliminate bloating which they recommend you do I believe for the entire 14 days. I have the Flat Belly Diet and The Flat Belly Diet cookbook for Families and I love them both. Great recipes, low cal/low fat, and they are super yummy and super healthy! I love knowing exactly how many calories I am consuming as well. I wouldn't really look at it as a "diet" cookbook, but a new way to healthy eating with the added benefit of weight loss.

    Good luck!

Oh, and yes, I do have a flat belly now from a combination of this diet and exercising 6 times a week!

I agree... books are great and I have used many of their recipes. I also use the Flat Belly Blaster DVD workout periodically.. very good combo of cardio and strength..

I just started the Flat Belly Diet and I'm on day 3 of the Anti-Bloat Diet part of the FBD. I bought the book last Spring and it's been collecting dust at my house so with the new year, I figured I should get my butt in gear.

I can tell I've lost weight in just three days. I've also been working out everyday to some extent - mostly cardio work outs.

I'm looking forward to the rest of the diet and trying out some of the other recipes in the book. I might actually extend the 4 day anti-bloat diet period to 8 days, with some modifications because I'm not a fan of the Tuna with steamed carrots for lunch on Day 2.
