Nutritional Values of Homemade foods

I do a lot of cooking with fresh ingredients and don't buy much prepackaged stuff. Any idea how to compute a nutritional value for homemade stuff like casseroles, soups, and such? Best I can figure is add it all up and divide by the number of servings. Does that get close enough?
