Filling yet healthy

I need to know if there are good tasting, filling foods, that maintain the healthy life style. I love food, I manage a restaurant and therefore around good tasting food all the time. But I realize its not the healthiest food around. I tend to snack while at work to keep from eating the food, but i was wondering if there was some food i could eat before to hold me over while at work?

    grilled veggies. i buy mine at market street. or fruit.
  • If you're looking for meals before-hand, oatmeal is really filling for a long time, and it's super-healthy.

    While you're at work, there are a ton of easy snack options to tide you over. A low-calorie protein bar works wonders, but they're a little on the expensive side. Another good, filling snack is almonds. I like to pack a tiny container of them and pop a few in my mouth every time I start getting hungry. There's also always fruit. I personally love the Fruit-to-go strips.

    I hadnt thought of almonds yet, the fruit part is easy we keep seasonal fruit at my restaurant! THANX

    I'm really enjoying the special k protein bars. That kept me full forever!

    beans, beans, beans!! Fiber, protein, & carbs, very filling.
