I've gained weight recently, I'm up about 5-6lbs above my norm and have been for for the past month or so. We went on a vacation for 2 weeks in December and I went from around 127 to 129, but since then, I've been going up and up and up and now I'm at 133:sad: . At first I thought it was because I was PMSing, but my period ended a day or two ago and I'm still heavier. I've been drinking TONS of water and exercising more. Its not muscle gain because, lets be real here, theres no way I gained 5 lbs of muscle that fast. YOu can take a look at my diary and see my food/exercise but it only goes back a couple days because I made a new account. For the past 2 or so weeks I've been eaing about the same, but if you care to see my older stuff my old account was "PetitePerfection", yes if you go back far enough in that account you can see days of severe restriction, as I had ( Iguess still have but I don't restrict and never binge/purged) an eating disorder. My most recent relaps was the beginning of December but was not nearly as severe as others. So my question is, am I doing this wrong, is it still period bloat, or is it my body STILL adjusting to a higher intake since I upped my calorie goal about a month ago?

my water used to take a week to come off completely before I went wheat free and I used to get lot of water retention and fluctuation. It's gone down alot since changing my diet and going wheat free/low carb.
  • I usually gain about 3-4 lbs overnight when I get my period, this is mostly due to water rentention/water weight, and bloat. I usually weigh myself every friday night, but when i have my period i weigh my self on the first day of my cycle and then the following friday. Everytime (thusfar) the 'weight gain' comes right off when my cycle is over
