Don't know if this has ever been posted before:):) One of my friends lost a bunch of a weight and this is one of her FAVORITE recipes..and Now I see why because I had it tonight and it was out of this world:):)

Sauce:
1 cup skim milk
1 tbls cornstarch
1/2 tsp pepper
1 clove garlic-minced
1.2 tsp garlic powder
.5 tsp onion powder
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp of basil..( I used parsley because I had no basil lol)
1 tbls parm cheese
1/4 tsp of Cayenne

Mix ingrediants in a pan. Bring to a boil for 2 minutes, than lower heat until it thickens.

I used Betty Crocker crust ( the kind you just add water to) I than put 1 tsp of olive onto the crust....spread the sauce...put some mozzarella cheese(light kind of course) on it....Baked it for 12 minutes...at 450 degrees...OMG yumo!! Its awesome..I also put some pepper strips, onions and tomatoes on it:):):).....I am sure there is a more healthy pizza crust to use, but I have yet to find one.....

it makes 8 servings..each slice is 150 calories ( with tomato and onion, I suppose it would be a little more with the peppers:):):)).....

I'm not sure of all the other nutritional facts because this recipe was passed down to me:)::)...I know its lowfat but high in sodium...Enjoy!

Still pretty good for a pizza, add whatever calories for veggies, and reduce even further with the bottom two ingredients. I've not tried it yet, but sounds delicious.

I told myself that when I reach 175 I can have a hamburger and a cup of ice cream. So, .4 lbs to go (was so hoping to be there today), today I will be buying the stuff to make this pizza. I already had most of it and I am going to add: Mushrooms, spinach, and tomatoes.
  • mmm...I love fresh spinach:)...Its one of my favs!:drinker:

Ok, cool. The sauce thickens up to look like a pesto sauce.
I left out the cayenne pepper, but it was still pretty spicy to me. I know it's not the garlic, because I love garlic. I'll work on it....probably cut down the black pepper to 1/4 tsp, same with the onion powder. All in all delicious.
  • Sounds yummy. Thanks for sharing. If you're looking for another crust, try Boboli whole wheat pizza crust as an alternative. I've had it and think it tastes great...very filling!
