Soda Cake Question

I have been reading about these and they sound great, except I cant eat anything with the artificial sweetener for it makes me sick. So do it HAVE to be diet soda or would regular soda be just as good.

    I think regular soda will do the trick, it will just have more calories than diet.

    Just made some with diet coke and chocolate cake mix, so yummy :) I added some ch. chips on top and they are 75 cal and it makes 24 cupcakes :)

    Everyone says it adds more calories, but seriously it will be at most an extra 10 per slice, probably less. It's one can of soda spread out over a WHOLE cake. Use whatever you can have :)
