Low Carbs?

I know its not really good to have a complete low carb diet all the time, as it leaves you feeling a bit tired, and definitely leaves me feeling a bit lethargic by the end of the day
But has anyone found it good to maybe change 1 week of their diet to low carbs? Or just generally make it temporary for a while?

I've noticed a lot of planned diets are low-carb/high protein in the first week or two. I think it's a good way to kickstart a weight loss or get out of a plateau, but you should eventually re-introduce stuff like fruit and complex carbs into your diet after a while.

Yer, I was thinking of maybe just introducing 1 week of strict low carbs every couple of months

I find that, for me, I have more energy on a low carb diet. But everyone is different!
  • I think everyone is different. I seem to do the best when I'm low carb'ing...but I do low (healthy) carbs and good protein and that makes a difference. I'm not tired- I still have energy. :)
