Two part time jobs. One is a Clinical Service Provider at Talbert House where I typically sit at a desk but there are 3 flights of stairs here with no elevator. My desk is on the 3rd floor, the group room is on the 2nd floor and the copier is on the 1st floor so I run up and down the steps a lot. My other job is a Mental Health Specialist at Children's Hospital and I sit sometimes but other times I'm up running around after the kids and sometimes I'm required to do physical holds. I put that I'm "lightly active".0

I'm a freelance writer, which was awesome for about two years. Now, since I moved away from the city and people are paying less than they were a year ago (thanks to some really shady companies encouraging people to sell their writing for pennies--sigh) it's less awesome. I still love it, though and I find that I have something financially-positive to do at least four days per week. (I used to have enough work that I could work more than 40 hours per week if I chose and still not finish everything.)
I've been looking into doing some contract work (proofing or editing or something) in an office. Partially because I'd like to make the kind of money I was making last year and partially because, without a high volume of work, being home all day is BORING.
It's a pretty great job for weight loss though because I have a lot of time to cook and go to the gym. My husband and I discussed my getting a regular, non-contract, non-freelance job, but decided I should do part-time freelance work, part-time work on my own projects, keep things up at home, and focus on losing weight and becoming more healthy.0 -

Cooking (took culinary) during the days, but I moonlight as a bouncer and now bartender.
I make more peddling my wares in the evenings than i ever did cooking, double, or triple when you factor in tips.
It's like I'm a piece of meat, and I get paid well for it.
So sexy.

Hi,
Self employed Electrician and Musician. You would think that being an electrician would be harder, but nope its defiantly singing and playing guitar, hauling the equipment around, and practicing 1-4hrs a day, then not getting paid for it hahahha. I'm crazy I know.0 -
I have a desk job now which is why i ended up putting on weight i think! My boss is lovely and even supplies us with lunches, we can have whatever we want and we get some healthy stuff and some not so healthy stuff. I find it hard to say no when others offer me the bad stuff! Can anyone help out with that? I feel bad if i say no....not because I actually want to eat it but because I just dont want to say no or something weird like that.0
